Inspection Comments |
11-12-20 VISITED SITE. THERE IS SIGNAGE ON THE DOOR REGARDING MASK WEARING FOR CUSTOMERS. NO CUSTOMERS WERE IN THE STORE AT THE TIME. WHEN I WALKED IN, THE TWO STAFF MEMBERS WERE WEARING MASKS. TALKED TO THE MANAGER ON DUTY AT THE TIME, REBECCA DUS. SHE SAID THE MASKS ARE 'PART OF THEIR UNIFORM' AND THEY ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR THEM WHEN THEY ARE ON THE CLOCK. SUSPENSIONS ARE POSSIBLE FOR STAFF WHO DO NOT FOLLOW THE MASK-WEARING POLICY WITHOUT A DOCTORS NOTE. THEY DO HAVE 2 EMPLOYEES WHO HAVE DOCTORS' NOTES AND ARE UNABLE TO WEAR MASKS.
MY RECOMMENDATIONS: 1.ALL EMPLOYEES SHOULD WEAR THE MASKS WHEN IN UNIFORM UNTIL THEY LEAVE THE BUILDING. 2. REMIND STAFF ABOUT PROPER MASK WEARING. 3. REMIND STAFF CUSTOMERS NEED TO FEEL SAFE WHEN ENTERING THE STORE, ESPECIALLY SENIORS. |
